Jay S. Clark


Jay Scott Clark, 54, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.  Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Community Services League.

Jay was born February 9, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Jack and Shirley (Davis) Clark.  He was a hard-working man, working as a Millwright for Union 1529.  Jay was a strong, loving father and loved his family very much.

His survivors include his wife, Debbie Clark of the home; three sons: Jay & Jack Clark of the home, and Anthony Cunningham of Lexington, MO; one daughter, Lisa (Richard) Acuff of Oak Grove; three grandchildren: Austin, Brooke, and Dalton, all of Oak Grove; and three sisters: Jill (Rick) Street, Jeanne Clark, and Jana (Mark) Smith.

  2. Sorry for your loss. The Bible shows death will be swallowed up forever. John 5:28, 29 assures us that Jesus will restore life to those who have died. This is a wonderful blessing to look forward to. Hope this thought brings comfort. ~ Ms. Allison
