Jeff Brown, 55, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 11, 2018. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16th at Royer Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his children’s education.
Jeff was born October 7, 1962, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Pat and R.J. Brown. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1981 and was a Journeyman Iron Worker until his retirement in 2017. Jeff and his wife, Staci, were married October 14, 1995. They made their home in Blue Springs and welcomed son Ryan in 1997 and daughter Mandi in 2000. Jeff was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, and friend. His greatest joy in life was watching his children in all their activities, always supporting them and encouraging them to be good, kind people. He was a great provider and example to his family and we will continue to make him proud.
Jeff is survived by his wife Staci, son Ryan, and daughter Mandi, all of the home; his parents, Pat and R.J. Brown; sister, Shelia Etting (Carl); sister, Shelly Schussler (Steve); sister, Sharolyn DeShaw (Tim); mother and father-in-law, Patti and Edward Griffith; sister-in-law, Cheri Griffith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeff fought a courageous 7-month battle against cancer. Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the fact that he is in Heaven, where there is no more pain and where he can look over his family until we can be together again. Rest well – Love you Forever.

19 Aug 2020I will always remember his smiling face and laugh. Jeff would always drive by the school and if I were outside working he would either holler out at me or blow his horn often times stopping just to tell me I was working to hard. Staci, Ryan, Mandi I pray you find comfort in knowing husband and father is in the good hands of the lord. Love you all dearly. – Carla Houston
