Jody Monroe Penfield, 52, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
Jody was born November 25, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri. The son of Dannie Monroe and Agnes Marie (Klaudt) Penfield. He was an avid fan of the KC Chiefs. Jody played football for the Grain Valley Eagles in High School. He liked to play computer games and listen to all kinds of music. Jody really loved life itself and had a joy for living. He will be greatly missed.
Jody is survived by daughter: Aperiendae Penfield of TX; mother and father: Agnes and Dannie Penfield of Grain Valley, MO; three brothers: Anthony Beary (Joy) of Independence, MO; Danny Penfield of Excelsior Springs, MO; Shane Penfield (Katrina) of Wellington, MO; several nephews and nieces; fiance’ Vickie Crose of Liberty, MO; Vickie’s granddaughters: Madicyn and Remington Talbott.

I drove the school bus for the boys back in the early 80’s & when you lived at Tarsney Lake.
