John Robert Marlow “Robbie”, 55, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
John was born June 5, 1968 in Kansas City Missouri. The son of Bobby Wade Marlow and Sharon Marlow Smith. John was a member in good standing with the IBEW local 124. He was very proud of his work. John left his professional mark on many of Kansas City’s landmarks. His work took him to many places including Union Station, Kansas Speedway, Sprint Center, KCI and the American Royal BBQ. In 2020, John retired from the IBEW. He loved computers. Most of all, John loved spending time with his children on the boat.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Wade Marlow in 1988.
John is survived by his wife, Pam Marlow of Grain Valley, MO; daughter, Sydney Marlow of Blue Springs, MO; 2 sons: John Taylor Marlow of Grain Valley, MO and Jesse Steele of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren: Everett Scott and Rowyn Scott; mother, Sharon Marlow Smith; father, Bobby Wade Marlow; and sister, Jayne and Mark Wells of Lee’s Summit, MO.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Lobb Cemetery 2525 Lobb Cemetery Road, Blue Springs, MO 64015. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
