  1. Jommy Hunter, as we know him, will be missed by our family and neighborhood. He grew up in Blue Springs, MO and was always a quiet and yet well behaved and respected son of his Parents, Bill and Dessie Hunter. As a young man, he could be seen often in a baseball uniform with a bat and a glove. If not at that, he helped around home. His Dad suggested he, “go ask the boy accross the street, if he wanted to play catch.” It was a small and kind gesture. He did that and our oldest son recalls the instance. We love and respect our dear neighbors, The Hunters, and will miss those opportunities to say, “Hey,” as the family members came and went. Johnny, was soft spoken and a good Husband and Father. We know he is loved and will be in the time to come. God rest his soul!
