Judd K. Jacobson


Judd Kenneth Jacobson, 48, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.

Judd was born on April 22, 1969 in Fairborn, OH, son of Nancy Heffner. He graduated from Fordland High School in the class of 1987, then attended Crowder State College.  He was employed by Central Power Systems and Services for 22 years in several capacities, his latest title being corporate parts manager in Liberty, MO. Judd’s interests and hobbies include golfing, fishing, bowling and online gaming. His main pastime was spending family time with his wife, Rachel of 22 years and 2 sons, Mitchell and Jared.  He married Rachel Hunt Jacobson on October 19, 1996 at the Wheatland Baptist Church. They made their home in Springfield, MO, Strafford, MO then moved to Grain Valley, MO, 11 and a half years ago. Judd is preceded in death by 1 sister; and his father, Marion “Jake” Jacobson.

His survivors include his wife, Rachel of the home; 2 sons, Mitchell Jacobson of Tulsa, OK and Jared Jacobson of Grain Valley; mother, Nancy Jacobson of Wheatland, MO; 4 brothers; 1 sister; mother and father-in-law, Gary & Bonnie Hunt of Hermitage, MO; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Judd will be sadly missed by all.

  2. Judd was an all around amazing person & Omega & I are blessed to have known him & be friends with him. He always had a smile on his face which was contagious because you be having a bad day or a bad moment & one look at his smile & you couldn’t help but smile. He was taken too soon & will be greatly missed. – Julie Williams
