Kenneth Aubrey Mainard, 81, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018.  A gathering for family and friends will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 14^th at Broadway Grill in Oak Grove.

Kenneth was born February 2, 1936, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Chester A. and Grace L. (Jackson) Mainard.  He owned and operated Mainard Pool Co. in Oak Grove.  He enjoyed playing music with the boys, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Mainard; and two great-grandchildren: Taylor Johnson, and Nathan Mainard.

His survivors include his wife of 63 years, Jeanie Mainard; son, Chuck Mainard (Peggy); daughter, Pam Johnson (Larry); six grandchildren: Chris Johnson (Kendra), Becki Johnson, Mandy Kemple (Donnie), Brian Mainard, Steve Mainard, and Kevin Mainard (Kristina); eight great-grandchildren: Alex Johnson, Sydney Johnson, Mackenzie Stark, Riley Stark, Kole Kemple, Kayla Kemple, Abi Mainard, and Logan Mainard; three siblings: Doug Mainard (Patty), Chet Mainard (Terry), and Joanne Williams (Pete Shelton); sister-in-law, Juanita Mainard; and several nieces & nephews.
