Mary Alice Craig, 85, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Missouri. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Mary was born on September 20, 1940, in Holden, Missouri, to Theodore and Bertha Boosinger. Mary dedicated many years of her career to the doctor’s office in Oak Grove before later working for Hallmark Cards. She took great pride in her work and was known for her kind heart and caring nature. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including reading magazines, cooking, enjoying her retirement, and, most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her love, warmth, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Bertha Boosinger, and her devoted partner of more than 30 years, Larry Bennett.
She is survived by her three children: sons Terry Craig (Dena) of Holden, Missouri, and Todd Craig of Holden, Missouri; and daughter Michelle Kauffman (Jay Jones) of De Soto, Missouri. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Adam Graham, Genie Pierson, Rachel Markovich, Holly Schulze, Kaden, Tom, Athena, Josie, Maggie, Lucy, Aster, and Sally Ann, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
Mary’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
