Michael I. Stomboly

Michael Isaac Stomboly passed away in the early morning of Sunday, April 16, 2023, at St. Maryโ€™s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO.  In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you come to celebrate his life with family and friends.  Memorial services will be held from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22nd at the Gamber Center, 4 SE Independence Ave, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.

He is survived by daughter Tera Jo Stomboly, son Eric Isaac Stomboly, and ex-wife Alice Stomboly, all of Blue Springs, MO; two grandchildren, Jason Jerde and Kylie Rae Stomboly; sisters, Shirley Silvey of Independence, MO, and Pam and husband Bob Baldwin of Leeโ€™s Summit, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Doris Stomboly, brother Robert Gary โ€œBobbyโ€ Stomboly, sister Tina Stomboly Neitzert, and brother-in-law JC Silvey.

Mike was born on March 26, 1964, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, the son of Isaac and Doris (Brock) Stomboly.  He graduated from Hardin Central High School in Hardin, MO, in 1982 and received his Associates Degree from Wentworth Jr. College in 1984.  Mike was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. He was always the go-to person when something broke and needed repair. Mike was a man with a big heart and would help anyone in need. He worked as a tool & dye maker for several years before becoming disabled.

Mike was a farm boy at heart and enjoyed the country life.  He was adventurous and a hard worker. But above all, he loved and cherished his children, family, and friends.

We find peace and solace in the fact that he is no longer in pain and is with his family and loved ones in heaven.

  4. DADDA……!!
I do not know what I am going to do without you around. You were a huge part of my life and everybody knows that I am a daddy’s girl. It was like my mission to make sure that you were still always part of the family. Never really got a chance to thank you properly for being the Greatest, Smartest, Strongest, Most Generous, Very Caring, Mr. Fix it, The Number One, And Also the Most Annoying, Stubborn, Human that I will Always Miss Bothering Me; Someone that I would not ever forget. Was not ready for you to leave so early but I do hope you are happier and more comfortably at peace now. Love You…. sincerely, PITA!
