Olen King, 91, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. Burial of ashes in Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Olen was born February 25, 1924 in Cooper County, Missouri, the son of William and Ollie May (Woods) King. He was a welder for Haven’s Industrial Steel, retiring in 1982.
His survivors include his daughter, Joyce Thebo of Blue Springs, MO; grandson, Jeff King of Longmont, CO; granddaughter, Dawn McGill of Middleton, OH; and great-grandchildren, Mathew King, Danniell King, Evan King, Ryan McGill and Lynnie McGill.
