Patricia Louise Bossert, 87, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28th at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Blue Springs; entombment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation for Burr Oak Woods, P.O. Box 366, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0366.
Patricia was born May 20, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Fred C. and Mary E. (Kieff) Reinkemeyer. She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and quilting, and was very involved in her church. Patricia loved her country life, working outside, and watching her deer. She enjoyed traveling and took several trips to El Salvador.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Bossert, daughter, Deborah Foust; and sister, Jackie Hertzing-Ferguson.
Her survivors include five children: Pam Rollins of Blue Springs, Cindy Shrout (Larry) of Grain Valley, Jamie Bossert of Blue Springs, Karen Robinett (Lonnie) of Blue Springs, and Mark Bossert (Cydney) of Blue Springs; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sister Evangela Bossert; brother-in-law, James Bossert; and nephew, Scott Hertzing.
