Robert “Bob” Leland Howard, 69, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Bob was born March 22, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Robert Lee and Wilma (Grossheider) Howard. He was a parts manager at several auto parts stores, most recently at O’Reilly’s in Grain Valley. Bob had attended church at Paradise Outfitters in Oak Grove. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family and his dogs.
His survivors include three sons: Kenny Howard (Jan) of Harrisonville, MO, Dennis Howard (Debbie) of Grain Valley, and Brent Howard of Grain Valley; five grandchildren: Kayla Howard, Britany Bradley, Josh Bradley, Addelynn Howard, and Kylee Howard; one sister, Donna Hirsch of FL; and one brother, David Fowler of Topeka, KS.

17 Sep 2020I just lost my best friend, a true friend. He was closer to me than my own brother.We worked together for many years and played together in retirement. He was an honest, hard working, and good Christian man. I feel a great loss in my life, but so thankful for what God gave in Bobs friendship for many years.
