Sandra Sue Elledge, 81, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8th in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Sandra was born July 15, 1940, in Foster, Missouri, the daughter of George and Mable (Boyles) Roberts. She married Eldon on October 19, 1957, and they would have been married 65 years this year. Sandra worked at the Oak Grove Elementary School for 32 years as a secretary. She loved to sew, read, and craft, but her family was the most important thing to her. A special treat to family was Sandra’s amazing talent for cooking. The heavenly scent of pot roast, home baked breads, rolls, and cinnamon rolls would welcome everyone to her table.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, George Roberts; and sister, Arlene Roberts Harrison.
Her survivors include her husband, Eldon Elledge; daughter, Shari Palmer (Leigh); son, David Elledge (Susan); six grandchildren: Jill Mattiello, Craig Foree, Brian Foree, Joseph Palmer, Hannah McBride, and Daniel Elledge; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Naomi Roberts Royer; and brother, Richard Roberts.

28 Oct 2022It’s the end of Oct. 22, and I just saw on this page of Sandy’s passing. I was shocked to find out about Sandy. Since mom and Aunt Dorothy passed, I don’t hear about any deaths. I remember all the years we were neighbor’s and seeing Sandy and Eldon out in the yard. I must text Cheryl in the morning. I know she also will say a little prayer for Eldon and the kids.
