Steven Warren Amen, 56, of Independence, MO passed away December 10, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 850 SE Blue Pkwy Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.

Steve was born September 1, 1965 in Overland Park, KS. He is the son of Kenneth & Peggy (Wall) Amen. Steve was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed working with his hands and tools, he was a jack of all trades. He loved making thing and helping other people. Steve spent his entire career working for Social Security Administration, his work meant so much to him. He was always going above and beyond for his job and coworkers.

Steve always looked forward to the family’s yearly beach vacation, He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his father: Kenneth Amen.

Steve is survived by his wife Kristy Amen of the home; son: Brad Amen & wife Maxine; daughters: Isabella “Izzy” Amen, Jessie Amen; granddaughter: Arianna Amen; mother: Peggy Chase.
