Tamera M. Burnett


Tamera Michelle Burnett, 54, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23rd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Tamera was born February 1, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Leonard A. and Dona J. (Runyan) Coleman.  She was an accountant, and had owned and operated a tax and accounting office, KDT Accounting, in Blue Springs with her mother since 1991.  Tamera enjoyed her work and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Her survivors include her mother, Dona Coleman of Bates City, MO; her daughter, Marci Schoen (Matt) of Oak Grove; her son, Tyler Burnett of Oak Grove; three grandchildren: Trevor, Alexis, & Triston Schoen; two brothers: Kevin Coleman (Tracy) of Oak Grove, and Kip Coleman of Bates City; and two nephews: Allen & Chad Coleman.

The time she spent in helping me in the transition to Virginia as well as the guidance she provided daily was invaluable.
