Terry Ann Robinson

Terry Ann Robinson passed away on March 20th, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. A Visitation will be held on April 4th, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Faith United Methodist Church, 1950 SW Eagles Pkwy, Grain Valley, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm, with a meal following afterwards at 1:00 pm.

She was the oldest child born to Oscar and Lorene Skinner on April 2nd, 1944, in Edina, Missouri. She attended and graduated from Memphis High School class of 1962. It was in high school where she met her future husband, Dick Robinson. Dick can recount the exact moment that Terry finally paid him attention. They were both in a school play, sitting on some steps, where he finally asked her if she wanted to go out and get a coke sometime. That was just the beginning of their love story. On June 21st, 1964, Richard and Terry married. Together they welcomed three boys: Rann, Ty, and Kory Robinson. No matter where life took them, they found the simplest moments meant the most. Terry enjoyed being the biggest cheerleader of her family. When Richard would Coach basketball, baseball, or softball, or whether her kids or later grandkids were playing a sport on a field—she was the loudest voice reminding them she was their greatest fan. Being with the ones she loved mattered the most. Her family has fond memories of going to the lake to visit and Terry hosting them with homecooked meals and sweet treats. She lovingly enjoyed tea parties with her granddaughters, playing board games or card games, or gathering by the fire pit to tell stories or sit in her swing as she watched everyone run and jump in the lake. Simple moments didn’t stop there. Terry enjoyed going on evening drives to count how many deer she could see and logging it on the family calendar or packing up the car and seeing where life would take her alongside her best friend, Dick. Life can take you to many places, but as long as the plan is to travel together, then the adventure is worth every mile. Terry enjoyed collecting things along whatever journey she might be on. She enjoyed collecting quilts, Adirondack pictures frames, or collecting t-shirts that would later be made into her infamous t-shirt quilts. If you question whether or not to take the picture–take the picture.  Make the memories and find joy in the simplest moments that truly mean the most.

Terry is preceded by her parents, her brother Kevin Ray Skinner, sister Karen Sue Hauptmann, and son Kory Jon Robinson

Terry is survived by her husband Richard “Dick” Robinson of the home. Her son Rann (Terri) Robinson. Ty (Jennifer) Robinson. Grandchildren Haley (Jordan) Staggs, Hannah Robinson, Zack Robinson, Kara Robinson, Kory Jace Robinson, and Aidan Maye Robinson; and one great-grandchild Kolsen Staggs.
