
Wil Spreeman, 72, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4th at Church of Christ in Odessa, officiated by Jason Hawkins. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Wil was born July 3, 1943, in Norfolk, Nebraska, the son of Herman and Lorene (Heckman) Spreeman. He earned an Associate Degree in computer programming. Wil was an insurance salesman for most of his life. His latest self-owned business was Scrappy Scrappers – collecting scrap metal to support several of his favorite charities. He coached baseball and softball for many years. Wil enjoyed sharing his faith with people at Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church, Odessa Church of Christ and Greenton Baptist Church and was a member of the Lake Lotawana Optimist Club. He was also a supporter of Hillcrest Ministries and Baby Grace.
Wil was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Stephanie. His survivors include his wife of 50 years, Beverly Spreeman of the home; three children: Sarah Williams of Odessa, Scott Spreeman of Odessa, and Martha Harrigan of Greenwood, MO; six grandchildren: Tyler Williams, Hannah Williams, Dillon Williams, Joshua Spreeman, Logan Harrigan, and Addyson Harrigan; and one sister, LaVon Kettler of Hadar, NE.
